Christmas Day

Friday, December 25, 2026 is a federal banking holiday. Since ACH transfers are paused by the Federal Reserve on all federal holidays, direct deposit payments may be delayed.
If your regular payday falls on or just after Christmas Day, it’s essential to adjust your payroll schedule in advance to ensure employees are paid on time.
If employees are normally paid on Friday, December 25, you will need to change the check date to Thursday, December 24 and ensure payroll is submitted no later than Tuesday, December 22 to keep everything on schedule.
For paydays scheduled on Monday, December 28, the check date does not need to change — however, payroll must still be submitted one business day earlier to avoid delays.
*This guidance is based on a standard 2-day processing timeline. If your account uses a 4-day processing window, payroll must be submitted earlier.
*Beyond’s banking submission cut-off time is 12:30 PM ET. Payrolls submitted after this time will be treated as received on the next business day. Submissions made on a holiday before the cut-off time will not delay processing.
