Iowa TPA + POA Requirements
Why this matters
Beyond partners with state agencies to handle important compliance tasks for your business – including new hire reporting to labor departments, tax rate calculations, payment of taxes and insurance contributions, and the filing of required reports. To perform these duties, we must be authorized to act on your behalf with the appropriate tax offices in each state where your company has obligations.
For example, if your business operates in both Iowa and Illinois, a separate Power of Attorney (POA) form will need to be completed for each state.
Iowa Department of Revenue
Third-Party Access (TPA)
- Log in to your GovConnectIowa account.
- Navigate to the I Want To… tab.
- Under GovConnectIowa Access, select Manage Other Users with Access to this Customer.
- Choose Add a New Logon With Access to This Customer.
- Under Other Party Account Manager, enter Beyond’s email address.

Power of Attorney (POA)
- Download and print the Iowa DOR POA form.
- Fill in Section 1: Taxpayer Information.
- Complete Section 2: Include your Iowa tax account details.
- Fill out Section 4: Taxpayer signature(s).
- Send a copy of the completed POA to Beyond.
Iowa Workforce Development
Third-Party Access (TPA)
- Log in to your myIowaUI account.
- If you do not have an account, click Create ID to register.
- Once logged in, select Assign Agent on the left-hand menu.
- Enter the details provided by Beyond to authorize us as your agent.
- Ensure you grant permission to submit and modify wage reports, as well as manage payments.

Power of Attorney (POA)
- Download and print the Iowa WD POA form.
- Complete the following sections:
- Section 1: Taxpayer Information
- Section 4: Employer’s authorized signature
- Provide Beyond with a copy of the signed form.
