Wisconsin Payroll Tax and Registration Guide

To stay in compliance with Wisconsin payroll tax regulations, employers must gather and maintain certain information before running payroll with Beyond. Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Wisconsin Tax IDs – Including your State Employer Identification Number and local/state tax IDs
  • Tax Rates – These are issued by the Wisconsin tax offices based on factors like the size and age of your business
  • TPA and Power of Attorney – Most agencies require this documentation so Beyond can submit wage reports and make tax deposits on your behalf

Beyond requires accurate and up-to-date tax information to file and deposit taxes correctly. Any penalties or interest that result from missing or incorrect information remain the responsibility of the employer.
