Why is this important?
Beyond acts on your behalf with government agencies by reporting new hires to state labor departments, calculating tax rates, handling tax payments and insurance contributions, and filing necessary financial reports. To do this effectively, you must grant us authorization to represent your company with tax authorities in every state where you have tax responsibilities. For example, if your operations span both Washington and Oregon, you’ll need to complete and submit a power of attorney form for each state.
Washington Employment Security Department
Power of Attorney (POA) for the Washington Employment Security Department
- Download the Washington ESD POA form.
- Fill out all required fields under the “Employer Information” section.
- Provide your UBI (Unified Business Identifier) number in the designated space.
- Sign the form at the bottom and include your printed name, job title, and date.
- Submit a copy of the completed form to Beyond.
Washington Labor & Industries
Granting Beyond third-party access (TPA) to your Washington L&I account is strongly advised to help prevent any delays when we act on your behalf with tax offices.
- Submit a request including your UBI number so we can initiate a Third-Party Access request.
- We will notify you once the request has been submitted.
- Your company’s account administrator can then log in and approve our access request.

Washington Paid Family Medical Leave
Power of Attorney (POA) for Washington Paid Family Medical Leave
- Download the Washington PFML POA form.
- In Section One, fill in your Employer Information.
- In Section Four, enter the effective start date, then sign and date the form, including your printed name and title.
- Provide Beyond with a copy of the completed document.
