Plan Ahead for Payroll: Federal Holiday on Wednesday, November 11
Wednesday, November 11, 2026 is a federal banking holiday. As with all federal holidays, the Federal Reserve will not process ACH transfers on this date, which may delay direct deposit payments.
If your regular payday lands on or directly after this date, it’s essential to run payroll earlier to ensure your team gets paid on time. For paydays that fall on the holiday itself, the check date must be adjusted.
What to Do:
If your scheduled payday is Wednesday, November 11, we recommend changing the Check Date to Tuesday, November 10 and submitting payroll no later than Monday, November 9 to avoid delays.
If your payday falls on Thursday, November 12, the check date can stay the same, but payroll should still be submitted one business day earlier*.
*Based on a 2-day payroll processing schedule. Employers using a 4-day turnaround should refer to the schedule below.

If your payday is Wednesday, November 11, we recommend updating the Check Date to Tuesday, November 10 and submitting payroll no later than Friday, November 6 to prevent delays.
