Tennessee Payroll Tax and Registration Guide

To stay compliant with Tennessee payroll tax regulations, employers must provide specific information before Beyond can begin processing payroll:

  • Tennessee Employer Account Number and applicable tax IDs
  • Unemployment Insurance (SUI) Tax Rate, as assigned by the Tennessee Department of Labor
  • TPA access and power of attorney documentation, which are generally required to authorize Beyond to file and remit taxes on your behalf
  • Tennessee Access Code, a unique code issued annually for tax filings

Accurate and current information ensures Beyond can file and pay taxes correctly. Missing or incorrect data can lead to fines or interest charges, and Beyond cannot be held liable for compliance issues caused by inaccurate company tax data.
