Montana - TPA & POA Required

Why it matters

Beyond communicates directly with state agencies on your behalf — handling new hire reporting, calculating tax rates, submitting tax and insurance payments, and filing necessary reports. To manage these responsibilities effectively, we need you to grant us Power of Attorney in every state where your business has tax obligations.

For example, if your company operates in both Montana and Idaho, a separate Power of Attorney must be completed for each state.

We make it easy — just download the pre-filled forms, enter your business details (including your digital signature), and send them back to us. We’ll handle the rest.

Montana Department of Labor

  1. Download the Montana TPA form.
  2. Fill in the “Employer” information section at the top.
  3. Sign as the Employer/Taxpayer.
  4. Send Beyond a copy of the completed form.

Montana Department of Revenue

  1. Download the Montana POA form.
  2. In Part I, complete the following:
    • Section 1: Taxpayer Information
    • Section 6: Taxpayer Signature
  3. Provide Beyond with a copy of the completed document.
