Missouri Payroll Tax and Registration Guide

To stay compliant with Missouri payroll tax regulations, employers must provide specific information before using Beyond to process payroll:

  • Missouri Withholding Tax Account Number and any required state/local tax IDs.

  • State unemployment tax (SUI) and other assigned rates, which vary based on your industry, history, and payroll size.

  • TPA access and Power of Attorney documentation, typically required so Beyond can file returns and submit tax payments on your behalf.

Accurate, up-to-date tax account details are essential for Beyond to file and pay correctly. Missing or incorrect data can trigger penalties or interest—costs for which Beyond cannot assume responsibility.
