Louisiana Payroll Tax and Registration Guide

To stay in line with state payroll tax laws, you’ll need to gather and submit key details before you can begin processing payroll with Beyond:

  • State Employer Identification Number and any state/local tax IDs
  • Applicable tax rates, which are set by state tax departments based on your company’s structure, size, and history
  • TPA authorization and power of attorney, typically required before a third party like Beyond can file wage reports or make tax payments on your behalf

It’s your responsibility to provide and keep this information current. Without it, Beyond won’t be able to accurately handle your company’s tax filings or payments, and we can’t assume liability for any penalties or interest that result from missing or incorrect data.
