
How to Resend an Employee Invitation

If an employee loses their invitation email, or never receives it, you may need to resend the invitation before they can log in to the employee portal to view items like pay stubs or year-end tax forms.
Step 1: Verify the Employee Profile
- Open the employee’s profile in your Dashboard.
- Confirm the email address is entered correctly.
- Have the employee review the address with you to ensure it’s both correct and accessible.
Step 2: Check the Invitation Status
- If you see Invite Employee, the invitation hasn’t been sent yet.
- Verify the email address, then click Invite Employee.
- Let the employee know the invitation has been sent.
- If you see Revoke Invitation instead, it means the invitation has already been sent. Confirm the email address before proceeding.

Best Practice: Always use the employee’s personal email rather than a company-issued one. This guarantees they will retain lifetime access to their pay and tax documents—even if they leave your company.
Step 3: Update the Email if Needed
- If the email address is incorrect, click Revoke Invitation.
- No employee information will be lost.
- Enter the correct personal email address and click Invite Employee again.
Employee’s Next Steps
- Check Email
The employee will receive a new invitation email with a link. They must click it to begin setup.

- Create Password
- The employee should create a unique password that they haven’t used elsewhere.
- Password generators are recommended for added security.

- Set Up Two-Step Authentication
- Beyond recommends enabling 2-Step Authentication for all users.
- The employee should enter a phone number to receive text verification codes.
- They’ll receive a code by text, then enter it into Beyond to confirm.
- Moving forward, they’ll use these one-time codes when logging in for added security.

Once complete, the employee can access their portal securely and view pay stubs, forms, and other payroll information anytime.
