How to remove and view inactive companies - Accountants & bookkeepers

If a client company no longer requires your services, you can have it removed from your dashboard. While it will be inactive, you can still access its information for tasks like running reports or verifying tax filings.

Removing a Company

To have a company removed, click the “Submit a request” button and log in with your Beyond credentials. Our team will close the account, address any outstanding issues, and notify you when it has been removed from your dashboard.

Requests can also be submitted by clicking the link at the bottom of any help article or by starting a chat from your Beyond dashboard.

Note: You will need your Beyond login credentials.

Trouble Logging In?

  • If you’ve forgotten your password, click “Forgot Password” to reset it.
  • If you have Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) enabled and cannot access your authenticator or account, call us at (757) 302-1442, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. EST.
  • As a security reminder, never share your login credentials or MFA code with anyone. Beyond will never ask you for this information.

Viewing an Inactive Company

An inactive company is not permanently removed; it is simply marked as inactive. You can view the account information at any time.

  1. In your dashboard, click “Companies.”
  2. At the top of the “Companies” list, check the box next to “Include Inactive.”
  3. Your inactive companies will now appear in the list alongside your active ones. You can click on the company name to view its details.
  4. Click “Launch” to access the inactive company. You will have full access to the account, including all reports.
