District of Columbia Payroll Tax and Registration Guide

To ensure your company complies with Washington, D.C.’s payroll tax laws, you must provide specific tax details before Beyond can begin processing your payroll. These include:

  • Your DC Employer Identification Number and applicable state/local tax IDs
  • Tax rates set by DC authorities based on your business type and other factors
  • Authorization documents such as Third-Party Access (TPA) and Power of Attorney, which are typically required so Beyond can file reports and remit taxes on your behalf

It’s essential to provide and keep this information accurate. Any errors or omissions can result in delays or penalties, and Beyond cannot assume responsibility for those.
