
Customizing and Filtering Payroll Reports

Flexible Filters
With Beyond, you can filter and customize reports, then save your settings so you always have quick access to the payroll information you need.
Date Range
At the top of every report in Beyond, you’ll see the date range selector. You can type the dates or use the calendar tool to choose any period from your company’s payroll history.
Click Update List to refresh the report with the new range.
Additional Filters
To narrow down your data, select Additional Filters. You can refine results by Run ID, Location, Department, Position, or employee.
After making changes, click Update List to apply them.
Close the Additional Filters menu to return to the full report, or click Reset Filters to start fresh and apply new filters.
Favorites
The Favorites feature allows you to save a customized report with filters applied, give it a name, and pin it directly to the Reports menu.
- Click the star in the upper-right corner to add a Favorite.
- Enter the name you’d like displayed in the menu.
- Click Create to add it.

Favorites will appear in the Reports menu just after the Reports Overview.
(Note: Favorites are not available for Payroll Listing or Earnings Summary reports. For more flexibility, use the custom report designer.)
Removing Favorites
To remove a saved Favorite, open the report, deselect the gold star in the upper-right corner, and click Remove.
