Client Onboarding Guide for Accountants & Bookkeepers

The Beyond team is available to assist with onboarding new clients, whether it’s your first or your hundredth. There are three methods for onboarding:

1. Invite clients to self-onboard: Clients can be invited to fill out their own business information. For assistance, you can direct them to the Client Onboarding Center, which provides guidance on what information is needed.

2. Collect and enter client information yourself: To set up clients for payroll, you will need to gather some basic information for each company enrollment, including:

    • Company tax IDs and EIN, physical address, and contact information
    • Financial details, such as the payroll bank account and login credentials
    • Payroll schedule and approximate payroll amounts
    • Name and address of at least one worksite
    • Owner/Officer ID and contact information (legal name, title, email address, SSN, date of birth, address, and direct phone number)

3. Send client information to Beyond: You can send your client information to our onboarding team, and we will handle the rest.

Once the client is onboarded and their bank account has been verified, the Beyond team will assist with data migration to prepare them for payroll. We may request additional information to accurately set up employees, contractors, and prior wages.
