Arkansas – TPA & Power of Attorney (POA) Required

Why This Matters
Beyond works directly with state agencies on your behalf – reporting new hires to labor departments, calculating tax rates, submitting tax and insurance payments, and filing required reports.
To do this, you must authorize Beyond to represent your business with the tax offices in every state where you have obligations. For example, if you operate in both Arkansas and Louisiana, you’ll need to complete and return a Power of Attorney (POA) for both states.
Each tax agency has its own authorization process, which may require providing registration details, granting third-party access, or submitting signed POA forms. Below are Arkansas-specific requirements.
Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration (DFA)
Third-Party Access (TPA) Requirements
For Beyond to file and pay your Arkansas withholding taxes, you must provide the following information along with your completed POA:
- FEIN or SSN on file with the Arkansas DFA for your business
- State Withholding Account ID
- ZIP code for the primary address on the account
- The amount of one of the last three payments made to the DFA for your withholding tax account
- Completed POA form
Power of Attorney (POA) Steps
- Download the Arkansas DFA POA form.
- Complete Section 1 – Taxpayer Information.
- Complete Section 6 – Signature of Taxpayer(s).
- Return a copy of the signed form to Beyond.
