Alaska – Power of Attorney (POA) Required

Why This Matters
Beyond partners with state agencies on your behalf – handling tasks such as reporting new hires to labor departments, calculating tax rates, submitting tax and insurance payments, and filing required reports.
To do this, we must have a valid Power of Attorney (POA) for every state where your company has tax obligations. For example, if you operate in both Alaska and Washington, you’ll need to complete and return a POA form for each state.
How the Process Works
We’ve made the process simple, download and print the Alaska POA:
- Complete your business information.
- Sign the POA form.
- Return it to Beyond.
From there, we’ll handle the rest.
State-Specific Requirements
Each tax agency has its own rules and procedures. Some may require you to provide tax registration details, while others will ask for a signed POA form. In these situations, you’ll see a “Submit a request” button, which allows you to securely send your information to Beyond.
