Florida - TPA & POA Requirements

Why this matters
Beyond works directly with government agencies to manage critical payroll and tax-related tasks on your behalf. This includes reporting new hires to state labor departments, calculating tax rates, submitting tax payments, handling insurance contributions, and filing reports.
To act on your behalf, we need to be properly authorized in each state where your business has a tax obligation. For example, if your company operates in both Florida and Georgia, you’ll need to complete and return a Power of Attorney (POA) form for both states.
Each tax agency has its own process for granting authorization, which may include submitting registration details or completed POA forms. Below, we’ve outlined the specific steps required for the Florida Department of Revenue.
