Mississippi Payroll Tax and Registration Guide

Before you can start processing payroll with Beyond, you’ll need to supply certain details to ensure you’re meeting Mississippi’s tax requirements:

  • Your State Employer Identification Number (EIN) and any other state or local tax IDs
  • Your assigned tax rates, which are determined by state agencies based on your company’s characteristics (such as size and industry)
  • Third-Party Authorization (TPA) and Power of Attorney (POA) forms – these are often mandatory for us to file wage reports and make tax payments on your behalf

It’s your responsibility to keep this information accurate and up to date so Beyond can properly file and deposit state taxes. Beyond cannot assume liability for penalties or fees incurred due to missing or incorrect data.
