Indiana Payroll Tax and Registration Guide

To stay compliant with state payroll tax regulations, you’ll need to provide specific information before you can begin processing payroll with Beyond:

  • State Employer Identification Number and any applicable state or local tax IDs
  • Tax rates – These are set by your state tax agency based on your company’s size, structure, and industry
  • Third-party authorization and power of attorney – Required by many agencies before Beyond can file wage reports and make payments on your behalf

It’s your responsibility to provide and maintain this information so Beyond can accurately handle your tax filings and deposits. Any errors, missing details, or outdated information could result in penalties or interest, which Beyond cannot be held liable for.
