Hawaii Payroll Tax and Registration Guide

To stay in compliance with Hawaii’s payroll tax requirements, you must provide certain details before you can process payroll using Beyond:

  • Hawaii Tax ID and other state/local tax account numbers
  • Applicable tax rates – These are issued by state agencies and depend on your business’s type, age, and size
  • Third-party authorization (TPA) and power of attorney (POA) – Most state agencies require this authorization so we can file reports and make tax deposits on your behalf

This information must be accurate and current for Beyond to file and pay your taxes correctly. Any fines or interest resulting from incomplete or inaccurate data are your responsibility, not Beyond’s.
