Georgia Payroll Tax and Registration Guide

To ensure your business remains compliant with Georgia’s payroll tax regulations, you must first provide Beyond with several key pieces of information before running payroll. This ensures accurate filings and timely tax payments. Here’s what you’ll need:

  • State Tax Identification Numbers, including both revenue and unemployment accounts
  • Applicable tax rates, which are assigned based on factors like the size, type, and age of your business
  • Third-Party Access (TPA) and Power of Attorney documents, which are often required for Beyond to file wage reports and make deposits on your behalf

It’s important to keep this information current and correct, inaccurate or missing data could lead to penalties or interest, and Beyond cannot assume responsibility for those costs.
